February 23, 2005 - LAKE OSWEGO, OREGON...Lake Oswego’s new community bank, The Bank of Oswego, recently announced plans to launch a special program serving local seniors at the Carman Oaks Retirement Residence.

This unique, customer-focused approach to banking will feature convenient courier deposit pick-up service and will allow residents to manage their finances without having to step foot outside their home. Kerry Luce, a 33-year veteran of the banking industry, will be heading up the program providing “world-class service” to Carman Oaks’ 160 residents through weekly visits to the retirement community.

As a result of this affiliation, residents will have the opportunity to open special senior checking accounts, which allow seniors aged 55 and up to earn interest while having access to unlimited check writing, deposits and withdrawals. Residents will also have complimentary access to certain bank products and services, including special bonus rates on Certificate of Deposits.

Carman Oaks, located at 3800 S.W. Carman Drive, is Lake Oswego’s premiere adult retirement community featuring a peaceful atmosphere and wide variety of activities. Gail Raymond, spokesperson for the facility, is excited about Carman Oaks’ new relationship with The Bank of Oswego. “I’m very confident that this will be a successful partnership,” said Raymond. The Bank of Oswego will host a special reception at Carman Oaks Wednesday February 24, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
